Full Description
Sourced from meticulously farmed vines in the 9000 block of West Dry Creek Valley, this Rosé begins with grapes harvested at 20.5° Brix to achieve a naturally lower alcohol and dry style. The fruit was handled gently to preserve delicate aromatics, followed by a short five-day fermentation that emphasizes freshness and purity. After fermentation, the wine was transferred to neutral oak barrels and aged for six months. This approach softens the mouthfeel while allowing the wine’s natural fruit character to shine, without imparting heavy oak influence.
Inspired by the renowned rosés of Bandol, this unique Sonoma expression blends Old World style with New World fruit. Made with a touch of Irish spirit, Cara Rosé is both distinctive and approachable.
In the glass, it reveals aromas and flavors of ripe peach, citrus fruits, and lifted floral aromatics. The palate is smooth and well-balanced, with crisp acidity and a long, satisfying finish that invites another sip.
